ROB MAson

Rob started investing in Property in 2015, along side a career in pharmaceuticals and management. The goal was to provide a pension pot and a legacy in later life.

The initial focus was to generate cashflow by buying high yielding properties that had an element of future capital gains, which lead the start of the journey to Liverpool and a couple of £50 odd thousand pound houses.

In 2019 Rob was made redundant and decided to go into property fully time and spent time networking to build up contacts and understand the many acquisition techniques available to investors.

Today Rob and Lyns now have 26 units to their name and a portfolio value of £3.5m, this is a mixture of houses, flats and HMOs, working with Social housing providers, supported living providers, as well as tenants on ASTs.

In 2021 Rob started up RJL Property Services as an Asset Management business, and incorporated into their RJL Group after a request to manage a portfolio on half of an Essex client with properties in Liverpool. The business now manages 73 units across Liverpool, Birmingham and Essex.

Lynsey mason

Lynsey has spent the last 25 years in corporate services, mainly in Fiduciary and HNW Client Management.

With Rob, they started their property business in 2015 by releasing some equity from their own home and buying 2 properties.

In 2016 Lyns started a recruitment business, where she would partner with clients within her fiduciary and tax structuring network, to bring in admin staff to work with her clients. This company also formed part of the RJL Group.

Today Lynsey still works for a global corporate services company, as well as running the operations of the recruitment business, and supporting the property businesses when Tracy is away.
